Hire and Play Technologies Private Limited

Welcome to Hire and Play Technologies Private Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using our website and services, including the rental of any of our equipment or products, you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”)
agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
Scope of Services
We provide rental services for electrical, electronic, machinery equipment, and other tangible goods. All rentals are subject to availability and compliance with these Terms.
Eligibility
To rent our products:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide valid government-issued identification and any additional documentation we may request. The company shall have the right to verify the same in person, if required.
- You must agree to use the rented items only for lawful purposes.
Booking and Payment
- Bookings can be made through our website or in person.
- Full or partial payment must be made at the time of booking, as specified.
- We accept payments via online payment gateway- CC Avenue, Bank Transfers to our company bank account and UPI payments at the discretion of the company.
- A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of booking, depending on the type and value of the rented item.
- The security deposit will be refunded after the item is returned and inspected for any loss, damage, or missing parts, subject to the terms of Clause 7.
- The Company will not pay any interest on the security deposit amount.
- In case of any dues (such as damage cost, late return, loss, or unpaid rental), the same will be deducted from the security deposit, and the balance (if any) will be refunded within 7 working days.
Rental Period
- The rental period starts from the date and time the item is delivered or picked up.
- Late returns may incur additional charges as per our late fee policy.
- Extensions must be approved in advance and may attract extra charges.
Delivery and Pick-up
- We offer delivery and pickup services at select locations, subject to availability.
- Delivery and pickup services are available between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, all days of the week, subject to availability of our service agents.
- Any delivery or pickup outside the standard time window will be at the sole discretion of the Company and may attract additional charges.
- Delivery and pickup charges are applicable and will be communicated at the time of booking or invoicing.
- The customer must ensure availability at the agreed date, time, and location.
- Delays or failed delivery/pickup due to customer unavailability may result in rescheduling fees, and the Company shall not be held liable for such delays.
Use of Equipment
- The customer must use the rented items with care and for their intended purpose.
- Subleasing, loaning, or unauthorized modification of the equipment is strictly prohibited.
Return of Equipment
- All items must be returned in the same condition as received, barring normal wear and tear.
- The customer is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the rented product during the rental period, regardless of the cause.
- In case of damage, the customer shall bear the full cost of repair, as determined by the Company or its authorized service provider.
- In case of loss or theft, the customer shall be liable to pay the full replacement cost, which is the current market price of a new product of the same make and model (or closest equivalent if the original is unavailable).
- The Company reserves the right to deduct such costs from the security deposit, and if the deposit is insufficient, the customer must pay the remaining amount within 3 working days of notification.
- Refund of security deposit (if any) will be processed after item inspection within 7 working days.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time.
- If a cancellation is made 24 hours prior or earlier, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
- If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled rental start time, the full rental cost will be charged, and no refund will be provided.
- All applicable refunds will be processed within 7 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
Liability and Indemnity
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising out of the use or inability to use the rented items.
- The customer agrees to indemnify us against any third-party claims arising from the use of the equipment.
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, and website materials are owned by us and protected under applicable IP laws. You may not use or reproduce them without written permission.
Privacy Policy
Our collection and use of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices.
Amendments
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
